This is a full-time permanent position (CDI) based on the Nice campus.Main Responsibilities Management of the Languages and Soft Skills team for the EDHEC International BBA, Nice CampusRecruit teachers and guest speakers.Allocate teaching resources and workloads.Lead and build cohesion within the teaching teams.Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports.Share course evaluation results with stakeholders and support them in analysing student feedback.Operational managementOversee the administrative and academic coordination of Languages and Soft Skills teaching for the EDHEC BBA, across the Nice and Lille campuses.Manage the Head of Languages, International BBA for the Lille campus, with frequent travel to Lille.Organise and assign duties, oversee pedagogical projects, lead coordination meetings, and supervise activities related to language certification preparation.Coordinate student placement into language groups at the start of the academic year.Coordinate student placement into English reinforcement and TOEIC preparation groups.Operational Management of Masters language courses on the Nice campus, in collaboration with the Head of Languages for Masters Programmes in Lille. PedagogyGuarantee the quality, coherence, and pedagogical innovation of Languages and Soft Skills teaching.Work with the BBA Programme Directors to ensure educational content aligns with training objectives.Appoint course leaders and coordinate their work.Organise pedagogical meetings.Oversee the creation, maintenance, and harmonisation of teaching materials.Lead digitalisation projects for teaching.Monitor pedagogical innovations.Ensure the quality of assessments and exams, and the accuracy and timeliness of grading.Oversee the harmonisation of transcripts.Coordinate preparation for language certifications (TOEIC, etc.).School lifeParticipate in academic bodies and institutional events (Teaching Committees, juries, councils, open days, Campus Days, etc.). Participate in the coordination of the language tests for the EDHEC BBA admission exam, in collaboration with the Head of Admissions and the BBA Program Directors. Team leadership and developmentLead and build cohesion within the Language and Soft Skills teams.Support the professional development and onboarding of new teachers.Manage the budget for language and Soft Skills teaching, subject to approval by BBA Programme Directors.Implement the School's strategy for language and Soft Skills teaching.Monitor developments in education and conduct benchmarking to propose improvements to the training offer.Oversee support for students with special accommodation for teaching and assessments, in coordination with Programme Directors and the relevant departments. ProfilProfessional Skills RequiredMinimum Master’s degree (Bachelor’s +5 years of higher education) in English, Modern Languages, or another relevant discipline. Excellent command of English and French, both written and spoken; proficiency in one or more additional languages would be an asset. Significant experience in language teaching within a business school or higher education environment. Strong expertise in pedagogical innovation, particularly in language learning and the development of soft skills. Proficiency in digital tools, especially Microsoft Excel and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Good understanding of academic accreditation and quality assurance processes. Ability to design, implement, and evaluate innovative educational programs and learning initiatives tailored to diverse audiences.
