You will be joining an established legal team (managing 7) and with oversight of transactions, commercial and compliance.Job DescriptionYour role will be to lead the legal function across Asia, based out of the regional HQ in SingaporeThe role will focus on end to end transaction work, commercial advice and regulatory supportThe focus of the role will centre around Real Estate Investments, M&A, JVs and general corporate matters.You will offer commercial guidance to senior leaders across the region, as well as forming part of the APAC steering committeeRegulation and compliance will go hand in hand with transactional led deal work.You will also develop, hire and grow a team of mid-senior legal and compliance staff.Requirements15 - 20 PQEEducated and law firm training from international establishments and tier 1Mix of law firm and In-House essentialBackground in transactional work such as Public M&A, Real Estate Investment and/or Funds - essentialSuperb communication skills to handle stakeholders regionally, C-Suite and global leadersSD Legal was established in 2018 and now with physical office locations across Singapore and Hong Kong.
