Head of Loss Prevention

Our client, a multi-billion-dollar leader in the retail industry, is seeking a Head of Loss Prevention to lead asset protection, inventory control, shrink reduction, investigations, and compliance initiatives across a large multi-unit retail network. This role will lead a team of District Loss Prevention Supervisors and the Surveillance Team while partnering closely with Store Operations, Distribution, and corporate leadership to protect company assets and improve operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop District Loss Prevention Supervisors and the Surveillance TeamDrive loss prevention, inventory control, asset protection, and compliance programs across the organizationOversee investigations involving theft, fraud, inventory discrepancies, and operational compliance mattersDirect surveillance review processes and leverage video analytics to identify risks and opportunitiesMonitor inventory accuracy, shrink trends, and margin performance, providing actionable recommendations to leadershipPartner with Store Operations and Distribution teams to implement risk mitigation and asset protection strategiesReview and approve shrink prevention incentive programsPrepare and present reports, metrics, and financial analyses to support business decisionsConduct field audits, assessments, and investigations as neededQualifications7+ years of multi-unit Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, or Retail Operations experienceProven leadership experience managing geographically dispersed teamStrong background in investigations, inventory management, shrink reduction, compliance, and operational auditingExperience with surveillance systems and video analyticsStrong analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skillAbility to travel as neededBachelor's degree preferred
