We now work with 1,300+ recruitment businesses, having grown largely through direct sales, partnerships and word of mouth.Now we're ready to build the marketing function properly.This is a rare opportunity to join a business with an established client base, strong partnerships and plenty of room to grow - and own the marketing strategy and execution from the ground up.You'll report directly to our CRO and work closely with account management, partnerships, sales and inside sales.There’s no big marketing team or complicated structure to navigate. You'll have the autonomy to decide what good looks like, build the plan and make it happen.What you'll doShape our marketing strategy and turn business priorities into clear GTM plansCreate client-facing content including emails, one-pagers, performance updates and year-in-reviewsBuild landing pages and make website updatesDevelop campaigns around products, partnerships and commercial opportunitiesSupport joint marketing with LinkedIn, Indeed and membership organisationsCreate materials for webinars, roundtables and industry eventsTurn client wins, industry news and insight from our teams into content people actually useKeep our brand, templates, decks and communications sharp and consistentBring in specialist external support when it adds value, while owning the majority of delivery yourselfIt's a broad role by design.One week might be a campaign for a new product. The next could be an industry event. Then you might be turning client results into a case study or completely rethinking how we communicate with prospects.What we're looking for: We think this will suit someone who has done their time in a larger marketing team and is now ready to run their own show.You'll need to be:Comfortable moving between strategy and hands-on deliveryA strong writer with a good eye for design and brandCommercially minded and able to understand what the business actually needs from marketingPractical, proactive and comfortable working autonomouslyEnergised by being the person who owns the function, rather than needing a big team around youComfortable working closely with sales, account teams and external partnersHappy getting involved in everything from campaign planning to building the final assetRecruitment, media or B2B agency experience would be useful, but we'd rather see the work than the CV.The details:£60k pro rata - full or part-timeSurbiton office - minimum 3 days per weekReports directly to the CROGenuine ownership of the marketing functionHubSpot, Webflow, Microsoft and Google WorkspaceInterested?
