About MercheryMerchery was born from a simple observation: corporate gifts and promotional products are most often of poor quality. This multi-billion dollar market lacks transparency and is frequently composed of products that people discard after two weeks. At Merchery, we are committed to disrupting these norms. Our vision is clear: we want to offer products that are both beautiful, useful, and rigorously selected, generating genuine excitement among people. Launched in 2020, Merchery is scaling fast — from €20M this year toward a €100M ambition — across the US, UK, and EU markets. We sit at the intersection of B2B e-commerce and brand: our customers expect performance and beautiful design, and we're not willing to compromise on either. The RoleWe're hiring a Head of Marketing to lead a team of 5 across three pillars — performance/growth, content/brand, and partnerships — and to be one of the people directly accountable for getting Merchery from €20M to €100M in revenue. You're not building this team from scratch. The current team is solid, and each pillar already has a strong lead you can rely on: a Growth Manager leads Performance, a Content Manager leads Content/Brand, and a Partnerships Manager leads Partnerships. Your job is to set direction, unlock them, and scale the structure. This is not a role for someone who wants to hand off a strategy deck and watch it execute itself. You'll set direction, but you'll also be in the weeds when needed: reviewing a landing page, unblocking a campaign, sitting in on a partnership call. You'll report directly to Simon and Benoit, our co-founders.What You'll OwnTeam leadership: Growing, structuring, and coaching a team that starts at 5 and will scale up as the business does — hiring, org design, and leveling up across three very different disciplines.Exec-level input: Representing marketing in cross-functional decisions, working closely with Simon, Benoit, and the executive team.Marketing strategy & budget: Setting a clear marketing strategy across teams, channels, and markets, and making sure the budget is allocated where it matters most.Channels & ecosystem: Having a clear view of how our different channels work together — CRM, website, social, paid, content, campaigns, etc. — and making sure they all contribute to the same bigger picture rather than in silos.Cross-functional collaboration: Working closely with Sales, Tech, Product, Fulfillment, and other teams to turn business needs and opportunities into strong marketing strategies and campaigns.Organisation & performance: Keeping the team organised and aligned — setting clear priorities, tracking what's working, making sure tasks move forward, running useful meetings, and finding better ways of working as we grow.Performance & Growth: Setting direction for the demand-gen and lead-gen engine — paid, lifecycle, CRO — across US/UK/EU markets, in partnership with the Growth Manager who leads execution.Content & Brand: Making sure Merchery's brand and design standards hold up as we scale, working closely with the Content Manager who owns the day-to-day.Partnerships: Backing the Partnerships Manager in scaling partnerships as a genuine growth lever. What We're Looking For7–10+ years in marketing, with at least part of that in a leadership role owning a P&L-adjacent growth number, not just a campaign budget.A proven track record of scaling a company's revenue and lead generation, which you're comfortable walking us through with concrete examples.Strong hands-on performance marketing skills — you're comfortable in the numbers and can tell when a channel or a campaign isn't performing.Fundamentally analytical and performance-driven — this is the primary lens through which you approach marketing decisions. That said, you genuinely understand, respect, and even love brand — you get why design and brand consistency matter, and you don't see the constraints they create as friction to route around.E-commerce experience — you understand conversion, merchandising, and the customer journey in a transactional context.B2B experience with complex, multi-stakeholder funnels — not just consumer growth playbooks.Experience operating across multiple markets (US/UK/EU) with the cultural and channel differences that implies.A natural leader who is humble — someone the team wants to follow, not someone who needs to be followed.Comfortable operating with ambiguity and moving fast, while still being rigorous about what's working and what isn't.☀️ Working with usWill be fun 🙂Merchery is growing, and we’re focused on building more than just a business: we want to create a healthy, collaborative, and down-to-earth work environment where people feel valued. This comes with responsibilities and the chance to have a meaningful impact — on the way we work, on our clients, and on the direction we’re heading. We care about well-being, not just in words but in small, concrete ways: team moments, honest communication, and a culture where people can be themselves. Our recruitment processInitial interview: A first conversation with our Co-founder, Simon, via video call to get to know each other and assess motivation as well as cultural fit.Case study – A practical exercise followed by a discussion with our teamDeep dive interview – Meeting the team and key executivesℹ️ Additional information
