Head of MarketingHigh Growth Business Leisure SectorThis Australian hospitality/leisure organisation continues to go from strength to strength with their growth strategy and expansion. They now have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Head of Marketing to lead their national marketing function. Reporting to the Chief Experience Officer, you will manage a team of seven and will set the strategy, the annual marketing calendar and all events. The marketing department works like an internal creative agency and aside from paid media buying and public relations, almost everything is delivered in-house. You and your team will manage organic social media, multimedia and graphic design, CRM lifecycle marketing, brand communications and local facility marketing across multiple brands and locations. With more than 70 facilities nationally generating a high volume of work, having strong systems in place, as well developing local area marketing campaigns that deliver results, will be imperative to your success. As Head of Marketing, you will be the strategic lead and operational driver behind digital marketing, brand presence and sales growth. You will lead three specialist hubs, Growth, Brand and Creative, whilst building the systems, skills and standards the team needs to produce excellent work at scale. You will develop, execute and continuously improve the group-wide marketing strategy, brand strategies and annual marketing plans. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you will translate business priorities into coordinated campaigns, digital programs and local communications. Your work will directly support membership sales, program enrolments, lead generation and facility visitation. You will also lead performance marketing across Meta, Google, SEO, SEM and emerging digital channels, with accountability for lead quality, cost per acquisition and return on ad spend.Coaching and mentoring an enthusiastic team, you will need to give them clear direction, thoughtful feedback and practical coaching. You will establish measurable KPIs, monitor performance and create an environment where people feel supported, challenged and accountable. Weekly hub meetings will help the team review results, manage capacity and clear production roadblocks. We are looking for an experienced marketing leader who can move comfortably between strategy, people leadership and execution. You have managed busy internal teams, helped junior marketers grow and built systems that improve both quality and speed. You are commercially focused and understand how marketing activity connects to sales, memberships and revenue. You can interpret data, manage budgets and explain performance clearly to senior stakeholders. You will need to bring extensive marketing experience, gained from working in a multi-site retail, hospitality/leisure, franchise or high-growth organisation. You will be experienced in managing, mentoring and a team, have advanced CRM knowledge, with Braze experience highly regarded and will bring excellent copywriting, communication and stakeholder management skills. Adept in managing budgets and interpreting profit-and-loss information is also essential, as is tertiary qualifications in marketing, public relations, business or a related discipline. This is full-time on-site role, given it is high customer facing environment.
