We employ around 65 people from our head office in Smethwick and over 700 people at our own garment factory in Karachi, Pakistan. As an ethically run family business, half of our profit goes to charity through the Balqees Welfare Foundation, helping to raise people out of poverty, fight illness and gain an education in our communities.We're looking for a Head of Operations to take ownership of everything that happens between an order landing and a customer receiving exactly what they asked for, on time, accurately, and safely.The opportunityThis is a senior, hands-on leadership role with real authority. You'll lead a team of 18 across our distribution centre, from receiving and picking through to packing, dispatch, returns and replenishment, and you'll be the person accountable for keeping us performing against OTIF, order accuracy and productivity targets.You'll also own Health & Safety and Environmental policy across the business, and be the driving force behind maintaining our ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accreditations, standards that matter to our customers and are non-negotiable to us.
