Head of Operations – Travel & TourismAbout the roleWe are seeking an experienced and commercially driven leader to head a leading outbound travel and tourism business. This role will be responsible for driving business growth, leading operational excellence, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering exceptional travel experiences while ensuring sustainable profitability.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Leadership & StrategyLead the overall outbound leisure travel business, overseeing operational, commercial, and customer service functions.Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets.Identify market opportunities, emerging travel trends, and new business avenues.Commercial & Partnership ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with international tour operators, airlines, destination management companies (DMCs), and other travel partners.Negotiate commercial agreements and partnerships to enhance product offerings and competitiveness.Drive sales performance and market expansion initiatives.Operations & Customer ExperienceEnsure seamless execution of travel operations and service delivery.Develop innovative travel products and experiences aligned with customer needs and market trends.Maintain high service standards and continuously enhance customer satisfaction.Financial ManagementManage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of the division.Monitor key business metrics and implement strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.Ensure sustainable business growth through effective resource management.Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop high-performing teamFoster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and customer-centricityDrive employee engagement and performance excellence across the business unitsRequirementsMinimum 10 years of experience in travel and tourism, with a strong focus on leisure travel management.At least 3 years of experience in a senior leadership or management role.Strong understanding of international travel markets, supplier management, and destination partnerships..Proven track record of driving commercial growth and achieving business target.Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.Strong strategic thinking and business planning capabilities.Passion for travel and delivering exceptional customer experiences.If interested, please submit your CV to careers@talentstudio.io
