The company consistently aims to meet complex design challenges with practical, economical, and high-performance solutions.Role Description The Head of Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Colombo, responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational activities across Wallspan’s projects and business functions. This role will lead planning and execution of production, supply chain, installation workflows, and project delivery to ensure timelines, quality standards, and cost targets are met. The Head of Operations will work closely with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, sales, and finance to align operational plans with business objectives and customer requirements. Daily responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, optimizing processes, managing budgets and resource allocation, and ensuring adherence to safety, compliance, and sustainability standards. The role also involves mentoring operational teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting strategic decision-making for growth and scalability.Qualifications Strong Operations Management experience, including overseeing multi-functional workflows, process optimization, and project execution in construction, architecture industry.Advanced Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data, track KPIs, forecast operational needs, and support evidence-based decision-making.Proven Team Management capabilities, including leading diverse teams, providing coaching and feedback, and building a collaborative, performance-oriented culture.Excellent Communication skills for coordinating with internal stakeholders, external partners, and clients, and for preparing clear reports and presentations.Demonstrated Budgeting skills, including cost control, resource planning, and financial oversight of operational activities.Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.Experience in architectural facades, construction, building materials, or engineering services is highly beneficial.Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to safety, quality, sustainability, and ethical business practices.
