Tailor my CV for this job — freeAbout AqualityAquality Solutions is a Frisco, Texas company that provides oilfield produced water disposal using Convection-Enhanced Evaporation (CEE) technology. Founded in 2024, we serve oil and gas operators and midstream companies in the Permian Basin through equipment sales and field service contracts.We are moving from pilots to commercial deployments with major Permian operators. We need an operations leader to build the field organization that makes that growth repeatable.The roleThe Head of Operations owns everything that happens after a contract is signed: deploying systems, running them safely in the field, and keeping customers satisfied. You will report directly to the Founder & CEO and join the founding leadership team.This role is designed to grow. As Aquality scales, it is expected to become Chief Operating Officer, with a path to CEO for the right person. We are looking for someone who wants to build a company, not just run an existing operation.What you'll doLead field deployment of CEE systems at customer sites, from logistics and installation through commissioning and handover.Build and manage the field operations team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance.Own HSE: set up safety programs, meet customer HSE requirements, and manage regulatory and permitting coordination.Run day-to-day operations and maintenance, with clear uptime, throughput, and cost-per-barrel targets.Manage the supply chain for equipment and parts, including vendors and international suppliers.Own the operations budget and unit economics, and report performance to the CEO and board.Serve as the senior operations contact for customers, and support sales with technical credibility and site assessments.Put in place the systems, processes, and metrics needed to scale from a handful of sites to many.What you bringRequired10+ years in oil and gas or industrial field operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (Operations Manager, Director, VP, or General Manager).Hands-on experience with produced water, water midstream, saltwater disposal, or water treatment operations.A strong HSE track record and experience meeting the safety standards of major operators.Budget or P&L responsibility, and comfort with unit economics.Experience building or scaling teams, not only managing established ones.Willingness to spend significant time in the field in the Permian Basin.PreferredExperience at a startup, a new business unit, or a new regional operation.Experience deploying new technology or equipment in the field.Customer-facing experience with E&P or midstream operators, including contract or commercial work.An engineering degree or equivalent technical background.What we offerA founding leadership role with a defined path to COO.Competitive salary, plus a performance bonus.Meaningful equity in a growing company.Direct influence over how the company is built: its team, systems, and culture.
