Loom Talent are delighted to be partnering with a leading manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Head of Operations - Manufacturing for a key leadership role in the West Midlands.Reporting to the senior leadership team, you'll lead a large-scale manufacturing operation, taking ownership of safety, production, quality, cost and continuous improvement while developing high-performing teams and driving operational excellence. The RoleAs Head of Operations - Manufacturing, you will:Lead the day-to-day manufacturing operation across a 24/7 production environment.Drive improvements in safety, productivity, quality, efficiency and customer service.Champion Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.Develop and coach operational leaders, creating a high-performance culture.Manage operational budgets and deliver cost improvements without compromising quality or safety.Work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Commercial and Finance to optimise operational performance.Support capital investment and operational improvement projects.Use data and KPIs to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement. About YouYou'll be an experienced manufacturing leader with a proven track record of delivering operational excellence within a fast-paced production environment. You'll have:Significant senior leadership experience within manufacturing, with responsibility for operational performance, budgets and people.A strong background in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement, with a proven ability to improve productivity, quality and efficiency.Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, along with a degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or a related discipline.
