Role: Head of OT Cybersecurity & Governance

Your expertise will spearhead and drive how cybersecurity is understood and driven across the business. You will be security's first-hire, have direct buy-in from the executive board, and will have the backing from the business to truly own and grow this function.Why join?Greenfield Opportunity: You'll be owning, building and scaling a global function from scratchGlobal Ownership: You'll be leading cybersecurity across 7 European markets.Project Scale: 14GW+ development pipeline meaning your role protects a rapidly growing portfolio of critical renewable infrastructure.Investment: They have €1bn of recent capital investment raised and they are actively deploying hundreds of millions into physical renewable infrastructure across Europe, giving the OT Security function a direct role in protecting a rapidly expanding portfolio of critical energy assets.What you'll be doing:Owning the OT cybersecurity strategy and governance programme across Europe, setting the security roadmap, standards and prioritiesAct as the internal expert for OT, SCADA, ICS and industrial network security, advising Engineering, Operations and project teams on security architecture and risk.You'll be the direct point of contact for NIS2; driving regulatory compliance, risk management, audits and reporting across relevant European operations.Embed security-by-design into new Solar, Wind and BESS projects, influencing cybersecurity requirements from early development and design through construction, commissioning and live operations.What you'll bring:You are a genuine OT Security SME. You have extensive hands-on experience securing OT/ICS environments, network architecture, segmentation, secure remote access and industrial protocols.You have a strong knowledge/experience with NIS2, IEC62443 and ISO27001Extensive experience driving and leading projects across OT/ICS cybersecurity within energy (desired), utilities, industrial and critical infrastructure environmentA track-record of influencing/leading regional/global security programmesA knack for influencing senior stakeholders, excellent communication skillsFor immediate consideration, forward a resume titled "Head of OT Security" to j.walsh@lawrenceharvey.com or apply using the link above!
