Head of Pathology / Senior PathologistAbout Path-iQPath-iQ is building a global digital pathology and AI-assisted pathology ecosystem connecting pathologists, laboratories, researchers, and healthcare organizations.Our vision is to enable better access to pathology expertise through digital pathology, collaborative networks, and responsible AI-assisted tools, while keeping the pathologist at the center of clinical decision-making.PositionHead of Pathology / Senior PathologistRole OverviewPath-iQ is seeking an experienced and highly respected Head of Pathology / Senior Pathologist to provide clinical, scientific, and professional leadership across our pathology network.The role is designed for a senior pathologist who can contribute expertise in diagnostic pathology while helping shape the development of digital pathology, AI-assisted pathology workflows, research, education, and international pathology collaboration.The successful candidate will work closely with Path-iQ's medical, scientific, product, and technology teams and contribute to the development of a global pathology ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Pathology LeadershipProvide senior clinical and scientific guidance across pathology-related initiatives.Contribute expertise in histopathology, surgical pathology, cytopathology, oncopathology, or relevant subspecialties.Support clinical review and expert discussion of complex pathology cases where appropriate.Help establish pathology quality standards, workflows, protocols, and best practices.Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and expert pathology consultations.Provide professional guidance on the clinical relevance and appropriate use of pathology technologies.Digital PathologySupport the development and evaluation of digital pathology workflows.Provide expert feedback on whole slide imaging, digital pathology viewers, annotations, reporting, collaboration, and case-sharing workflows.Help define requirements for pathology-focused digital tools and platforms.Contribute to the development of scalable digital pathology workflows for laboratories and pathologists.AI & Computational PathologyAdvise Path-iQ on the clinical application of AI and machine learning in pathology.Evaluate AI-assisted pathology models, image analysis tools, and computational pathology workflows.Provide expert input on clinical validation, limitations, usability, and responsible deployment of AI-assisted pathology technologies.Help identify clinically meaningful opportunities for AI-assisted diagnosis, research, education, and workflow optimization.Collaborate with data scientists, AI researchers, and technology teams to translate pathology requirements into practical solutions.Research & InnovationSupport pathology research initiatives and collaborative research programs.Contribute to research publications, abstracts, presentations, and scientific communications.Identify emerging developments in pathology, digital pathology, molecular diagnostics, and AI.Support collaborations with universities, hospitals, laboratories, researchers, and professional organizations.Participate in Path-iQ research and innovation initiatives.Education & Professional DevelopmentContribute to pathology education and continuing professional development initiatives.Participate in webinars, lectures, case discussions, conferences, and educational programs.Support the development of pathology learning resources and expert content.Mentor and engage with pathologists and pathology trainees within the Path-iQ network.Global Pathology NetworkHelp develop and strengthen Path-iQ's international network of pathologists and pathology institutions.Establish professional relationships with leading pathology departments, laboratories, academic institutions, and healthcare organizations.Represent Path-iQ at relevant scientific, academic, and professional forums.Support international collaboration between pathologists across regions and subspecialties.Contribute to the development of a trusted global community for pathology collaboration.Qualifications

• MD, DNB, FRCPath, FCAP, or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Pathology.
• Appropriate medical registration in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Significant experience in diagnostic pathology.
• Strong experience in histopathology and/or a relevant pathology subspecialty.
• Previous departmental, academic, research, or professional leadership experience is preferred.Preferred ExpertiseExperience or demonstrated interest in:
