As a family-owned, internationally operating company, Giorgio Armani designs, manufactures and distributes luxury fashion and lifestyle products worldwide.To strengthen our Human Resources team at our Munich Head Office, we are looking for a committed and experiencedHead of People (m/f/d)Your ResponsibilitiesAssume overall responsibility for the Human Resources function across Germany and Austria, providing strategic and operational leadership while overseeing, developing, and coaching the local HR team.Develop and implement sustainable recruitment strategies, oversee the hiring of key positions and building a strong talent pipelineOversee payroll operations, manage benefits administration, including health benefits, company cars and pension plans), and ensure compliance with local tax and social security regulations.Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management, development, retention and offboarding.Act as a strategic business partner to the Executive Management Team and a trusted advisor to managers on all people-related mattersDevelop and implement the local HR strategy in close collaboration with our Headquarters in Milan, ensuring alignment with the Group's global HR strategyFoster a constructive and collaborative relationship with the Works Council, ensuring effective employee representation and social partnershipLead the annual performance and salary review processes while providing recommendations to Headquarters regarding compensation decisions and talent retention initiativesLead employee relations, including employment law matters, conflict resolution and collaboration with the Works Council and external stakeholdersDrive organizational development and change management initiatives, supporting the implementation of new organizational structures and international HR programsImplement and manage HRIS platforms, oversee HR data analytics and reporting, and provide HR metrics to support business decision-making.Partner with the Commercial Director, the COO and the international HR team to implement a forward-looking People StrategyYour ProfileUniversity degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a comparable qualificationSeveral years of leadership experience in Human Resources, ideally within an international retail, fashion or luxury environmentProven expertise in talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, employee relations and organizational developmentSound knowledge of German employment law; knowledge of Austrian employment law is considered an advantageStrong experience in payroll, Compensation & Benefits and HR complianceProven experience leading complex HR projects and organizational change initiatives within an international environmentExcellent leadership, communication and consulting skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all organizational levelsHigh level of resilience, strategic thinking and the ability to successfully manage multiple complex priorities in a dynamic business environmentEntrepreneurial mindset combined with a hands-on approach and a structured, solution-oriented way of workingProficient in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelBusiness fluent German and English are essential; Italian is considered an advantageWhat We OfferThe opportunity to work for an internationally renowned luxury company with a strong Italian heritageA stimulating international and multicultural working environment where everyone feels respected and valuedA competitive salary package with modern benefitsAt Giorgio Armani, we are committed to diversity, respect and equal opportunities.
