Role Description The Head of Private Banking is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for overseeing the private banking function, managing high-net-worth client relationships, and ensuring delivery of tailored wealth management solutions. Day-to-day tasks include leading and mentoring the private banking team, supervising portfolio management activities, and setting strategic priorities for client acquisition and retention. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimize products and services, monitoring risk and compliance within the private banking segment, and tracking financial performance against targets. The Head of Private Banking will also represent the function in key client meetings and market events to strengthen the bank’s presence in the region.Qualifications Strong expertise in Private Banking and Finance, with a track record in managing high-net-worth clients and complex financial solutions.Demonstrated ability in Business Relationship Management, including developing, maintaining, and expanding long-term client relationships.Proven Team Leadership experience, with skills in coaching, performance management, and building collaborative, high-performing teams.Hands-on experience in Portfolio Management, including asset allocation, risk assessment, and ongoing performance monitoring.Advanced understanding of wealth management products, investment vehicles, and regulatory requirements within the UAE and international markets.Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends.Strong communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; a relevant master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, CFP) are preferred.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, demonstrating self-management, integrity, and client-focused mindset.
