Procurement sits at the heart of operations, with a direct line to senior leadership and a real hand in shaping the future of the business.The roleYou’ll lead procurement and supply chain, reporting into the operations leadership. You’ll manage a small team of buyers and a planner, own relationships with key manufacturing partners and suppliers, and build a procurement strategy that keeps supply reliable while holding inventory down.What you’ll doLead, coach and develop the procurement and planning teamSet and run a rolling procurement and supply chain strategyManage outsourced manufacturing partners and key suppliers end to end, including agreements and performanceImprove demand planning so inventory is lean and availability holdsStandardise and streamline procurement processes across the businessWork closely with engineering, technical and commercial colleagues on sourcing decisionsKeep procurement compliant with regulatory, security and ISO requirementsWhat you’ll bringA track record of leading procurement or purchasing teams in high-tech or engineering manufacturingExperience managing outsourced manufacturing or a complex technical supply chainStrong leadership and stakeholder skills, and the energy to improve things in a fast-moving environmentMCIPS and MRP/ERP experience are a plusWhat’s on offerUp to £85,000 plus annual bonus scheme25 days’ holiday, rising with servicePrivate medical coverHybrid working and free parkingTraining, development and annual salary reviews
