The National Infrastructure Fund is seeking a Head of Project Finance to lead the structuring, negotiation, and closing of complex infrastructure financings. The role will own the transaction process across a broad portfolio, including transactions in sectors such as digital infrastructure, energy and renewables, water, transport, sports, municipal projects, health, and education, in support of the Fund's mandate to accelerate the delivery of projects critical to the realization of if Saudi Vision 2030.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the review and assessment of transaction streams across various sectors, prioritizing opportunities against the Fund's mandate and strategy.Develop and execute transaction strategies for new projects, including financial modeling, risk analysis, and investment recommendations to decision makers.Lead negotiations with project sponsors, lenders, and other stakeholders through to financial close.Structure transactions in line with Fund policies and investment criteria, working closely with project, legal, risk, and other internal teams.Oversee due diligence, including financial, legal, technical, and environmental and social impact assessments.Monitor the financial performance of portfolio projects and identify opportunities for optimization and value creation.Lead, coach, and develop the project finance team, providing technical guidance on structuring and transaction management.Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, lenders, government entities, and industry experts.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field (required).Master's degree in Finance or an MBA (preferred).Experience:15+ years of senior experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, or investment banking.Proven track record managing transactions from origination to financial close across multiple infrastructure sectors.Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.Strong knowledge of debt capital markets as applied to infrastructure financing.Experience with the Saudi and GCC infrastructure market is an advantage.
