Head of Projects Operations

SAMA Construction & Contracting is seeking an experienced Head of Projects Operations to lead the operational delivery of multiple projects and ensure safe, efficient, timely, and profitable project execution.Key Responsibilities

• Lead project operations from mobilization through completion and handover.
• Oversee project performance against approved scope, budget, schedule, quality, and HSE requirements.
• Drive project efficiency, productivity, cost control, and profitability.
• Oversee planning, project controls, progress monitoring, and recovery plans.
• Optimize manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractor resources across projects.
• Monitor project risks, delays, cost overruns, and operational issues, ensuring timely corrective actions.
• Lead and support Project Directors, Project Managers, and construction teams.
• Maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company standards, HSE requirements, and applicable Saudi regulations.
• Support business development and tendering activities by providing operational and execution input.Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in construction and contracting.
• 5+ years in a senior project operations or project leadership position.
• Proven experience managing multiple large-scale construction projects.
• Strong experience in project execution, project controls, cost management, construction management, and subcontractor management.
• Saudi construction market experience is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is highly preferred.
• PMP, PMI, or equivalent certification is preferred.
