We are HiringProcurement HeadLocation: Birgunj,NepalPosition: Procurement HeadExperience: 6–8 YearsIndustry: Mechanical Equipment / Industrial ProcurementJob ResponsibilitiesIdentify and onboard reliable, cost-effective suppliers while maintaining strong vendor relationships to negotiate favorable terms and ensure strategic sourcing and quality assurance.Ensure compliance with quality specifications before approving purchase orders, in coordination with the Quality team, for all purchased goods.Synchronize procurement activities with inventory levels and production schedules to avoid understocking or overstocking.Enforce proper housekeeping standards across the office space.Conduct regular market analysis and benchmark prices across vendors and regions.Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate better terms and deals with suppliers.Coordinate with vendors, banks, customs agents, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth order processing, timely deliveries, and required documentation.Ensure all customs and logistics requirements are fulfilled for timely delivery of purchased goods.Lead procurement activities and ensure efficient sourcing of mechanical equipment, spare parts, and industrial materials.Manage vendor performance and maintain effective supplier relationships.Handle contract negotiation and ensure procurement terms are commercially beneficial to the organization.Requirements & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory.6–8 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, spare parts, and industrial procurement.Expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and work effectively under pressure.Key CompetenciesStrategic Sourcing | Vendor Management | Procurement Planning | Cost Negotiation | Contract Management | Inventory Coordination | Mechanical Equipment & Spare Parts | Customs & Logistics Coordination
