Head of Recruitment Operations

Recruitment Operations ManagerWe're looking for a highly organised, commercially focused Recruitment Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across our recruitment business. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring our consultants have the systems, processes, training and support needed to maximise performance.You'll lead our sales operations, technology, reporting, learning & development, internal recruitment, compliance, supplier relationships and business improvement initiatives. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and consistency across the business.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced recruitment environment and enjoys combining strategic projects with hands-on operational delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Operations & TechnologyOwn and optimise the recruitment technology stack (CRM, sequencing tools, job boards and reporting platforms).Maintain CRM data integrity, automations, integrations and user support.Deliver system training, create user guides and drive adoption of best practice.Monitor recruitment platform usage, licences, ROI and job advertising activity.Sales Performance & ReportingManage sales reporting, targets, competitions and gamification initiatives.Produce KPI, pipeline and performance reports for leadership.Analyse productivity, conversion rates, rebates and operational trends to identify improvement opportunities.Learning & DevelopmentDeliver onboarding and ongoing training for consultants.Conduct probation reviews, 1-2-1s, coaching sessions and desk diagnostics.Develop recruitment playbooks and monitor adoption of best practices.Recruitment Operations & ComplianceMonitor vacancies, job flow and workforce planning.Support managers through operational reviews and skip-level meetings.Partner with the Compliance Manager to maintain compliance standards, conduct audits and implement process improvements.Act as Data Protection Officer and oversee umbrella company relationships and compliance reporting.Internal Recruitment & HR SupportManage the end-to-end recruitment process for internal hires.Source, screen and interview candidates, coordinate assessments, references, offers and onboarding.Build relationships with Rec2Rec agencies.Support employee relationsMarketing, Events & CommunicationsSupport employer branding, website updates, social media and marketing collateral.Coordinate recruitment events, networking activities and promotional campaigns.Maintain internal communications, recruitment materials and company branding.Supplier & Business ManagementManage relationships with external suppliers, negotiating contracts and monitoring ROI.Support budgeting, business improvement projects and operational change initiatives.Skills & ExperienceEssentialExperience in recruitment operations, sales operations or recruitment management.Strong knowledge of CRM systems, recruitment technology and reporting.Experience analysing KPIs and delivering operational insights.Excellent organisational, analytical and project management skills.Experience delivering training and coaching.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capability.DesirableLinkedIn Recruiter and job board management experience.Knowledge of recruitment compliance and GDPR.Experience with process automation, marketing or employer branding.Personal AttributesCommercially minded with a continuous improvement mindset.Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.Proactive, solutions-focused and confident influencing stakeholders.Collaborative leader with a coaching approach.Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced recruitment environment.What We OfferCompetitive salary and performance-related bonus.Career progression opportunities.Ongoing professional development.Collaborative, ambitious working environment.The opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and success of the business.Contact me at j.reid@linqrecruitment.co.uk
