Head of Risk Analysis

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Head of Risk Analysis to lead our risk analysis function within a futures proprietary trading environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in futures prop firms and a strong understanding of trading risk, trader behavior, and risk management.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and analyze trading activity, exposure, and overall risk.Develop and implement risk monitoring and assessment processes.Identify unusual trading patterns, excessive risk-taking, and potential breaches of risk parameters.Analyze trader performance and risk metrics to support business decisions.Set and review appropriate risk limits and controls.Prepare regular risk reports and provide insights to management.Work closely with Trading, Operations, and other teams to manage and mitigate risk.Continuously improve risk analysis processes, tools, and reporting.Lead and manage the risk analysis function as the company grows.RequirementsProven experience of 3+ years in a futures prop firm is required.Strong understanding of futures markets, trading strategies, and risk management.Experience analyzing trading data, exposure, drawdowns, and trader behavior.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to identify potential risks and provide practical recommendations.Excellent professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.Previous leadership or team management experience is preferred.
