Apply & track with Apply EdgeOne of our business unit, which is in virtual asset exchanges, custody services, wallets, blockchain infrastructure is seeking Risk Manager for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Company's enterprise-wide risk management framework, ensuring compliance with ADGM FSRA regulatory requirements and effective management of risks arising from virtual asset exchange, custody, brokerage, treasury, settlement, and technology operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the ERM Framework, Risk Appetite Statement, risk policies, governance, and reporting.Maintain risk registers, monitor KRIs/KCIs, and report key risks to Senior Management and the Board.Assess and monitor operational, market, liquidity, treasury, technology, cybersecurity, and third-party risks across exchange, custody, wallets, blockchain infrastructure, and settlement operations.Conduct risk assessments for new products, virtual asset listings, staking programs, and strategic initiatives.Investigate operational incidents and oversee corrective actions.Work closely with Compliance team on regulatory, AML/CTF, and sanctions risks.Support regulatory inspections, audits, and regulatory reporting.Assess and monitor outsourcing arrangements, custodians, banking partners, liquidity providers, and other critical third parties.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business, Accounting, or a related field.7–10 years' risk management experience in banking, capital markets, fintech, or virtual assets.Strong knowledge of ADGM FSRA regulations and the virtual asset regulatory framework.Required SkillsStrong knowledge of virtual asset exchanges, custody, wallets, blockchain infrastructure, and enterprise risk management.Understanding of operational, market, technology, cyber, regulatory, and third-party risks.Knowledge of AML/CTF and sanctions requirements.Strong analytical, reporting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to engage effectively with regulators, auditors, and senior management.
