This is a truly unique opportunity to join a highly efficient, well-regarded company and lead it through a significant period of its growth journey.You will have full responsibility for the commercial function, both in the UK and overseas, as part of the Leadership Team driving the company through the next 3-5 years of growth.Why this suits a player-manager:You'll own the commercial function end to end - UK and export, not just oversee it from a distanceYou'll lead the sales team while still being hands-on yourselfYou'll be out visiting distributors regularly, not stuck behind a deskYou'll shape channel strategy and route to market, then help execute itYou'll have real input into where the function goes next - this is as much about building as runningWhat you'll be doing:Full ownership of the commercial P&LLeading and developing the sales team, building out structure as the function growsDriving UK and export sales - OEMs, End Users, Distributors and in-sitesStrategy development alongside the MDBuilding key customer relationships across Distributors, OEMs and factory end usersRepresenting MRMK at exhibitions and in the marketWhat you'll bring:A background in sales leadership - genuinely hands-on, not purely strategicComfortable with a longer, more considered sales process (bespoke products: sample, test, refine)Channel strategy / route to market experienceExperience working with both UK and International customers with a willingness to travel in the UK and Overseas when required.Strong commercial instincts - numerate, a good negotiator, comfortable owning a budgetThe energy to both set direction and roll your sleeves up delivering itThis role is being handled exclusively by Elevation Recruitment Group.
