Head of Sales (Electroplating)

Responsibility:Develop and execute the sales strategy for electroplating products across the UAE region.Drive business development and achieve revenue, profitability and market-share objectives.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, OEMs, Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers, plating companies and industrial accounts.Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's customer base across the Middle East.Lead negotiations with key customers and manage commercial relationships.Develop channel/distributor networks where appropriate and ensure effective market coverage.Work closely with Technical Service, R&D, Product Development and Operations teams to provide customer-specific solutions.Understand customer processes and applications and recommend appropriate electroplating and surface-treatment solutions.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing and emerging technologies in the electroplating industry.Build a robust sales pipeline and ensure timely conversion of opportunities.Manage sales forecasts, budgets, pricing and commercial margins.Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings and relevant technical forums.Build and lead the sales team as the business expands in the region.Key Skills:Experience in B2B sales/business development within electroplating, surface treatment or specialty chemicals.Proven track record of developing new markets and key accounts.Strong exposure to automotive, auto components, general engineering, electronics or industrial manufacturing customers.Prior experience in the Middle East/GCC market would be highly desirable.Strong understanding of distributors, industrial customers and decision-making processes in the region.Demonstrated ability to independently manage a P&L/revenue responsibility and deliver aggressive growth targets.Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.Engineering/Chemistry/Polymer/Chemical qualification preferred.
