The school will begin as a small preschool program and grow over time into a full elementary school, with the potential to eventually expand into middle school.The school is based on a successful educational model already operating in California. The Head of School will work closely with the founders and the California Head of School to bring this model to Miami.The school will focus on rigorous academics, classical education, critical thinking, character development, and individualized attention. We want students to develop a love of learning, think independently, pursue excellence, and grow in a kind and supportive community. Classes will have no more than seven students, allowing teachers to meet each child’s needs and strengths.We take a family-centered approach and aim to build a close-knit community grounded in kindness, gratitude, integrity, curiosity, and high expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesLaunch and lead the Miami school and guide its growth.Recruit, develop, and retain excellent teachers.Oversee admissions, curriculum, and instructional quality.Build strong relationships with students and families.Establish a positive, values-driven school culture.Manage daily operations, budgeting, and finances.Collaborate with the founders and California leadership.Represent the school in the Miami community.Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a thoughtful, confident, and entrepreneurial leader who:Is passionate about educating children and aligned with the school’s mission.Takes initiative, solves problems, and thrives in ambiguity.Has strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.Can recruit and develop exceptional educators.Is adaptable, resourceful, and willing to learn and innovate.Values classical education while remaining open to thoughtful uses of technology and AI.Leads with kindness, integrity, humility, and high standards.Values personal responsibility, free speech, and liberty.QualificationsBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.Experience in education required; school leadership experience strongly preferred.Experience managing people, building programs, and working independently.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
