Head of School/School Director We’re partnering with a growing private early childhood education organization in the Fairfax area to appoint an experienced Head of School/School Director to lead one of its campuses.This is an excellent opportunity for an established education leader to take ownership of a school community, with responsibility spanning staff leadership, enrollment, parent engagement, educational quality, and overall campus operations.The RoleAs Head of School, you’ll provide leadership across the entire campus and be responsible for creating an exceptional environment for children, families, and staff.Key responsibilities will include:Developing and executing the strategic plan for the campusBuilding a positive, mission-driven culture across the schoolCreating a strong community among staff, parents, and childrenEnsuring the delivery of a high-quality early childhood education programHiring, developing, supporting, and managing teaching staffPartnering with school leadership to achieve enrollment goalsManaging the campus budget and overall operational performanceMaintaining high standards across the educational and parent experienceAbout YouWe’re looking for an experienced early childhood education leader who combines strong people leadership with the ability to successfully manage the operational side of a school.Ideally, you’ll bring:Early childhood education leadership experiencePrevious experience as a School Director, Preschool Director, Program Director, Admissions Director, or similarStrong leadership and staff management capabilitiesExcellent organizational and communication skillsThe ability to build a warm, collaborative culture while making confident decisionsA genuine passion for early childhood education and the Montessori philosophyPrevious classroom teaching experience and a bachelor’s degree are preferred.
