Team members join a collaborative environment where creativity, innovation, and diverse perspectives shape the brand’s future.Role Description The Head of Security is a full-time, on-site role based in Waban, MA, responsible for overseeing all aspects of security across LWMBQZ’s operations, facilities, and digital assets. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies, policies, and standards that protect people, property, and information. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading physical security programs, coordinating security systems and access controls, managing cybersecurity and information security initiatives, and ensuring business continuity planning is in place and regularly tested. The Head of Security will monitor security incidents, conduct risk assessments, oversee incident response and investigations, and collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to align security measures with business objectives and brand values. This position also includes managing external security partners, staying current on emerging threats, and fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Business Continuity, including risk assessment, disaster recovery planning, and crisis management.Candidates should possess expertise in Network Security and Cybersecurity to protect digital infrastructure, monitor threats, and implement preventive controls.Candidates should possess solid Information Security skills, including data protection, access management, and compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.Candidates should possess robust Physical Security skills, such as facility security planning, surveillance systems oversight, and access control management.Relevant qualifications include prior leadership experience in security or risk management, preferably in retail, fashion, or creative industries; familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST); and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Additional beneficial qualifications include excellent communication and collaboration skills, the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, experience working with law enforcement or regulatory bodies when necessary, and a bachelor’s degree in security management, information technology, criminal justice, or a related field.
