LWMBQZ encourages innovative thinking and diverse perspectives, making it an engaging place for security leaders who want to support a creative organization.Role Description The Head of Security is a full-time, on-site role based in Waban, MA, responsible for overseeing the security posture of LWMBQZ across physical, digital, and operational domains. This role involves designing and implementing security policies, procedures, and standards that protect people, assets, information, and brand reputation. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading risk assessments, monitoring security systems, coordinating incident response, and collaborating with IT and operations teams on network, information, and physical security measures. The Head of Security will manage security vendors, train staff on security awareness and emergency protocols, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices. The role also requires regular reporting to leadership on security performance, emerging threats, and continuous improvement plans.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong expertise in Network Security and Cybersecurity to safeguard digital infrastructure and prevent unauthorized access.Candidates should possess robust Information Security skills to protect sensitive data, manage access controls, and support secure information management practices.Candidates should possess solid Physical Security experience to design and oversee facility security, access management, surveillance, and incident response on-site.Candidates should possess Business Continuity capabilities to develop and maintain plans that ensure operations can continue or recover quickly after disruptions.Experience leading security programs for creative, retail, or fashion environments is beneficial.Proven leadership skills, including team management, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder communication.Knowledge of relevant security frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements.Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Information Security, Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, or equivalent experience) is preferred.Ability to work on-site in Waban, MA, and respond to security issues promptly as needed.
