Head of Security Governance - Director

My leading Banking client are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking individual to define, direct and oversee the Security Governance function across EMEA, operating as a senior business-facing security leader within the CISO Office. You'll provide strategic and operational leadership across policy oversight and communications and awareness. You'll be accountable for ensuring that security policy, risk oversight, regulatory assessment activity, user behaviour, data protection controls and training and awareness processes operate effectively.This is a newly created and high profile role in a leading global Bank. A brilliant opportunity!The following skills / experience is essential:Strong Security Governance backgroundPrevious senior professional experience in information security, cyber risk, technology risk, control governance, operational resilience or compliance.Strong understanding of financial services regulatory expectations relating to cyber security, operational resilience, technology risk, data protection and access governance.Information security, risk, audit or governance qualification, such as CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CISA, ISO/IEC 27001, is desirable.Excellent communication skills.Salary: Up to £135,000 + bonus + packageLevel: Director
