Head of Semiconductor Nanofabrication Manufacturing

Our exciting new client is currently searching for a Head of Nanofabrication Manufacturing to lead the development and scale-up of implantable micro-electrode technology for next-generation brain-computer interfaces.Key responsibilitiesBuild and lead a high-performing microfabrication/manufacturing team.Design next-generation multi-channel electrode arrays, including layouts, materials, geometries and fabrication processes.Lead cleanroom manufacturing using techniques such as thin-film processing, photolithography, sputtering, etching/RIE and wet chemistry.Select and assess materials for long-term biocompatibility, stability and signal quality.Scale manufacturing from prototype development to reproducible, production-ready processes.Ideal candidateProven leadership/team-building experience.Strong hands-on expertise in microfabrication and cleanroom processes.Knowledge of MEMS devices and processesUnderstanding of how materials and fabrication affect biocompatibility and neural signal quality.Entrepreneurial, hands-on and comfortable taking projects from R&D through to scalable manufacturing.Degree/PhD in neuroengineering, microsystems, electrical engineering, physics, biomedical engineering or a related field.Please contact Rachel Anderson for further details.
