Head of Strategy

Role Description The Head of Strategy is a part-time hybrid role based in Ajman, with a mix of on-campus presence and approved work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for developing and refining institutional strategies across academic programs, learner experience, and operational efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market and competitive analysis, leading strategic planning initiatives, and aligning departmental objectives with the college’s long-term vision. The Head of Strategy will collaborate with leadership, faculty, and administrative teams to evaluate new program opportunities, optimize resource allocation, and monitor key performance indicators. The role also involves preparing strategic reports and recommendations, facilitating planning workshops, and ensuring that strategic projects are executed on time and within scope.QualificationsStrong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making.Business Planning and Strategic Planning capabilities to design, implement, and review institutional strategies.Finance and Consulting experience to assess financial viability of initiatives and advise leadership on strategic options.Experience in higher education strategy, institutional research, or academic administration is highly beneficial.Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Public Policy, Education Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.Demonstrated skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and change management within educational or knowledge-driven organizations.
