Head of Strategy

Role Description The Head of Strategy is a part-time role responsible for guiding the college’s long-term academic and organizational direction. This hybrid position is based in Umm Al Quwain, with a mix of on-site presence and work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and refining institutional strategies, analyzing performance data, and aligning academic programs with national educational standards and future skills needs. The role involves collaborating with leadership, faculty, and administrative teams to support resource planning, optimize student outcomes, and identify opportunities for partnerships and innovation. The Head of Strategy will also prepare reports, present recommendations, and monitor the implementation of strategic initiatives.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess institutional performance, and support evidence-based decision-making.Candidates should possess Strategic Planning and Business Planning skills to design, evaluate, and implement medium- and long-term plans for the college.Candidates should possess Finance skills to understand budgeting, resource allocation, and financial sustainability in an educational context.Candidates should possess Consulting skills to advise leadership, facilitate strategic discussions, and support change management initiatives.Additional qualifications include experience in educational or public-sector strategy, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.A relevant advanced degree in education, business, public administration, or a related field is highly desirable.
