Our mission is to strive to create high-tech implantable devices and diagnostic solutions for cardiac diseases, which are accessible to the greatest number of people, while offering valuable services to patients, physicians, hospitals and health care insurers.As for us the patient always comes first, we strive daily to deliver medical devices for heart related conditions that help people live longer and healthier lives.As the Structural Heart business continues to expand across Europe, we are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Head of Structural Heart reporting to Chief Commercial Officer.The Purpose of the role is build and lead MicroPort CardioFlow's Structural Heart business unit in Europe.

Location: Europe Your missions will be as follows Build the organizationDesign and staff the European SH business unit: distributor/channel managers, clinical and procedural specialists (case support, proctoring, KOL development), and market-access support — sized to the revenue plan and approved headcount.Recruit, onboard and develop a team with genuine TAVI competence; set the operating rhythm, performance standards and culture of the unit from day one.Define the distributor operating model: selection, contracting, targets, training and certification, inventory and consignment rules, performance reviews and exit criteria.Assess, market by market, when and where to transition from distributor to agent or direct models, and build the business case and execution plan for each transition.Deliver the numberOwn the European SH P&L: revenue, gross margin after distributor margin, operating expense and headcount budget.Build and own the annual operating plan, quarterly forecast and country-level targets; report to the CCO on a monthly cadence.Open countries and accountsPrioritize and sequence country entry across Western and Eastern Europe based on reimbursement status, tender calendars, distributor quality and clinical readiness.Open and ramp implanting centres: proctoring plans, first-case support, physician training pathways and centre-level adoption tracking.Build the European KOL network for TAVI and LAA in partnership with Marketing and Medical Affairs; represent the franchise at the principal European congress.Run the interfacesPartner with the VP Global Marketing on launch planning, positioning, clinical evidence dissemination and congress strategy; provide the field input that shapes the SH marketing plan.Work with Global Market Access on reimbursement, HTA and tender readiness by country.Feed European market and customer insight back to SH upstream marketing and Shanghai R&D.Work with Global Sales Operations on execution, forecasting, distributor performance data and incentive-plan administration.Ensure full compliance with the MedTech Europe Code and national transparency and anti-kickback rules in all fields, distributor and HCP-facing activity; engage Compliance before launching any incentive or HCP program.Your profile Must have10+ years in Structural Heart commercial leadership, with direct TAVI experience at a major franchise (e.g.

Edwards, Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific) or a credible challenger.Track record of building a business or business unit and of opening new countries or new implanting centers.P&L ownership at regional level.Experience managing distributors and, ideally, transitioning markets from indirect to direct or agent models.Established relationships with European TAVI implanters and heart-team KOLs.Fluent English; at least one other major European language.Strongly preferredLAA occlusion experience.Experience in tender-driven public hospital markets (France, Italy, Spain, Germany) and with reimbursement/HTA processes.Experience as a challenger or launch context where brand awareness had to be built from a low base.Leadership attributesBuilder mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, thin infrastructure and hands-on execution in the first 18 months.Credible with physicians; able to hold a clinical conversation with an implanter.Disciplined operator: forecast accuracy, distributor governance, compliance-first.Collaborative across a matrix: Marketing, Market Access, Sales Ops, Shanghai R&D, and CRM peers.
