The business is backed by Tier 1 venture capital and is scaling quickly.The roleModular build only delivers speed if the supply chain delivers. This role owns procurement end to end and is accountable for keeping equipment off the critical path as the deployment pipeline grows.What you'll doOwn the supply chain function: category strategy, supplier selection, negotiation and delivery across every critical equipment class.Secure electrical equipment with the longest lead times — switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, busway — alongside mechanical, cooling and structural categories.Negotiate capacity reservations with OEMs ahead of firm designs, and convert those reservations to orders as the pipeline firms up.Dual-source across equipment classes where products are not interchangeable, managing the design implications with engineering.Build the order tracking, expediting and supplier performance discipline that surfaces a slipping delivery date weeks before it hits the build schedule.Work closely with engineering and construction so that specification decisions reflect what can actually be procured and when.Build the team and the systems as volume grows.What we're looking forSenior procurement or supply chain leadership on large, mission critical programsDirect experience sourcing major electrical equipment and a current, accurate read on lead times by product class.Track record reserving factory capacity ahead of firm designs and managing the commercial risk that creates.Hands-on. You have expedited equipment through a factory and know what to trade to move a delivery date.Comfortable operating without an existing playbook, in a company moving faster than the industry norm.
