Company: AVPL International Location: Gurugram, Haryana Department: Supply Chain, Procurement & Administration Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 10+ Years Payroll: AVPL International Industry Preference: Drone / UAV / Aerospace / Defence / Advanced ManufacturingAbout AVPL InternationalAVPL International is a technology-driven organization operating in the Drone & UAV ecosystem, working across drone manufacturing, technology, training, and related applications.We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Management & Admin Head who can lead end-to-end supply chain, procurement, vendor management, logistics, inventory, and administration operations.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the Drone/UAV industry, sound knowledge of drone technology and components, and an established pool/network of reliable vendors and suppliers.Role OverviewThe Supply Chain Management & Admin Head will be responsible for developing and managing a robust and cost-effective supply chain for AVPL's drone-related operations.The person will be expected to build, maintain, and leverage a strong vendor ecosystem, ensure timely availability of critical components, optimize procurement costs, and ensure smooth administrative and operational functioning.Key Responsibilities1.

Supply Chain & Procurement· Lead the complete Supply Chain Management and Procurement function.· Develop and implement strategic sourcing and procurement plans.· Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials required for drone manufacturing and operations.· Manage the complete procurement cycle from requirement identification to vendor selection, negotiation, purchase, delivery, and quality coordination.· Develop alternate sourcing strategies for critical components to minimize supply-chain risks.· Identify opportunities for cost reduction, localization, and process improvement.2. Vendor Management & Vendor Network· Build, develop, and maintain a strong and reliable vendor pool across India and international markets.· Leverage existing industry relationships to identify and onboard reliable suppliers quickly.· Develop vendors for drone components, electronics, mechanical parts, batteries, motors, sensors, flight controllers, frames, payloads, communication systems, and other relevant components.· Evaluate vendors based on quality, cost, capacity, lead time, reliability, and delivery performance.· Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit periods, MOQ, lead times, and commercial agreements.· Maintain a strong database of approved and alternate vendors for critical materials.· Continuously identify new suppliers and develop alternate sources to avoid dependency on single vendors.· Monitor vendor performance and take corrective action where required.3. Drone / UAV Industry Knowledge· Possess a good understanding of the Drone/UAV ecosystem and its supply chain.· Understand the basic functionality and sourcing requirements of major drone components.· Have knowledge of components such as:o Motors & ESCso Flight Controllerso GPS/GNSSo Batteries & BMSo Propellerso Frameso Sensorso Communication/Telemetry systemso Cameras & Payloadso Electronic and mechanical components· Work closely with R&D, Engineering and Production teams to understand BOMs, specifications, component requirements, and sourcing alternatives.· Stay updated with developments in the drone industry, component suppliers, and emerging technologies.4. Inventory & Logistics Management· Establish effective inventory-control systems for critical components and finished products.· Monitor stock levels, consumption, lead times, and reorder requirements.· Minimize excess inventory, dead stock, material wastage, and stock-outs.· Oversee warehousing, transportation, dispatch, and logistics operations.· Ensure timely movement of materials between vendors, warehouses, manufacturing units, and project locations.5. Administration & Facility Management· Lead overall administration and facility-management activities.· Manage office, warehouse, manufacturing/facility infrastructure, security, housekeeping, transportation, and other administrative services.· Manage administrative vendors and service providers.· Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of facilities and operational locations.· Monitor administrative budgets and optimize operational expenses.· Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety standards, and applicable statutory requirements.6.
