Head – Supply Chain Management (Power Transmission & Distribution)Location: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaAbout the roleOur client, a leading global EPC player in power transmission and distribution, is looking for a Head of Supply Chain Management for its PTD business. The role leads procurement across roughly 25 countries and about 150 live projects, with annual spend of around USD 3 billion, and reports directly to the business head.Procurement is a major driver of project margins, delivery timelines and early completion in this business. This is a strategic leadership position, not a purchasing desk.What you will doSet the procurement strategy and align it with business goals, project margins and delivery schedulesLead sourcing, evaluation, negotiation and contract closure for towers, conductors, transformers, GIS/AIS, cables, insulators and EPC packagesOwn supplier approval decisions, and identify and develop new suppliersBuild and maintain relationships with OEMs and strategic suppliersDrive cost optimisation and value engineering across a large multi-country portfolioIdentify supply chain risks early and protect project executionWork closely with the Projects, Engineering, Contracts and Finance leadershipLead, develop and mentor a team of 20 to 30 across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and IndiaWhat you bring20+ years in supply chain and procurement, with substantial experience in power transmission and distribution, or in adjacent electrical infrastructure such as substations and underground cabling in oil and gasExperience leading procurement portfolios of USD 1 billion or more across multiple projects and countriesExperience managing large EPC infrastructure projectsWorking experience with global suppliers, including those in ChinaMiddle East experience and an established vendor network in the regionAn electrical engineering background, or deep procurement knowledge of electrical equipment such as transformers and switchgear, is an advantageA stable track record in long-cycle project environmentsWhat we offerA competitive fixed monthly package in USD, plus an annual performance bonusVisa and health insurance for you, your spouse and up to two childrenA senior seat in a multinational leadership teamThis is an on-site role based in Riyadh.
