Head of Tax & Accounting - Russian & English Required

If you don't speak Russian, please don't apply — this is to save your time and ours.Company: StableGrowz — a Dubai-based business setup and relocation company, launching an in-house tax and accounting division for our existing client base.About the Role:We're not hiring into an existing team — we're hiring the person who will build the team. You'll be the founding hire for our Tax & Accounting division: setting up the processes, policies, and client workflows from scratch, then growing and leading the department as we scale.Key Responsibilities:Building the division:Design and implement internal processes, SOPs, and compliance policies for the tax & accounting function from the ground up.Set up client onboarding workflows, document management systems, and reporting templates.Select and implement the accounting software stack (e.g., Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks).Define service packages, pricing tiers, and delivery timelines for clients.Recruit and train future team members as the division grows.Client delivery:Manage the full accounting cycle for clients: journal entries, reconciliations, adjustments, fixed assets accounting.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local reporting standards.Handle tax compliance: VAT returns, corporate income tax filings, and other applicable UAE taxes.Oversee payroll processing: salary calculations, deductions, allowances, end-of-service benefits, WPS compliance.Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, tax regulations, and relevant frameworks (ESR, AML, etc.).Support external audits and advise clients on accounting, tax, and compliance matters.Candidate Requirements:Languages (mandatory):Fluent Russian and English, written and spoken. This is non-negotiable — please do not apply without it.Education & Certification:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a plus.Strong knowledge of IFRS and local UAE accounting/tax regulations.Experience:Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or tax — specifically within the UAE market.Experience setting up or scaling a department/practice from scratch is highly desirable.Prior experience in consulting or outsourcing firms is a strong plus.Experience with free zone companies and Qualifying Income structuring is a plus.Skills & Competencies:Solid knowledge of corporate tax, VAT, payroll, and UAE tax laws.Strong ownership mindset — comfortable building structure where none exists yet.Excellent communication and client-facing skills.Proficiency in Zoho Books, Xero, or QuickBooks.What We Offer:Work with an established client portfolio — not building a client base from scratch.Full ownership of building and leading the Tax & Accounting division within a growing group of companies.Clear growth path to Head of Department as the team scales.To apply: Please confirm your Russian language fluency in your first message — applications without this will not be reviewed.
