Job Title: Head of Technical OperationsDepartment: Technical OperationsReports To: General ManagerLocation: DubaiAuthority Level: Senior Level JOB SUMMARY:The Head of Technical Operations is responsible for leading and overseeing all technical operations across project execution, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), and the In-House Service Center. This role ensures the successful delivery of installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and after-sales support while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Technical Operations LeadershipProject Site OperationsAnnual Maintenance Contract (AMC) ManagementIn-House Service Center ManagementTechnical ExcellenceTeam Leadership & People DevelopmentOperational Performance & Continuous ImprovementCustomer Relationship Management Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)·       Project & Tasks Delivery Performance ·       Resource Utilization·       Revenue Growth from AMC Renewals & Service Opportunities·       Team Productivity & Employee Development·       Client Retention & Satisfaction RateQualifications·       Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.·       Master's Degree is an added advantage.·       PMP certification is preferred.·       Relevant technical certifications in AV, ELV, Security, Lighting, or Building Systems.Experience·       Minimum 12–15 years of experience in technical operations within a System Integrator, MEP, ELV, AV, Lighting, or Building Technology environment.·       At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large technical teams.·       Proven track record in managing project execution, AMC operations, and technical services.Technical Competencies·       Strong expertise in AV, ELV, Lighting Control, Security Systems, Access Control, CCTV, Structured Cabling, BMS integration, and Smart Building technologies.·       Excellent understanding of installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance practices.·       Strong understanding of contract management and service delivery.·       Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs.·       Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and Field Service Management systems.OTHER KEY INFORMATION:This position is a sedentary role with most of the time outside the office. Occasional visits to other locations may be required.The position requires a sound ability to form working relationships with people at all levels.The employee will need to be constantly proactive, provide support when/where needed.
