Parks & Recreational Facilities Operations Manager - EmiratiLocation: DubaiDepartment: Public Parks & Recreational FacilitiesLevel: Managerial (Grade 14)We are seeking an experienced Manager - Public Parks & Recreational Facilities Operations to lead the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance management of parks, landscaped areas, recreational assets, and city beautification initiatives. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing resources, ensuring asset reliability, and enhancing visitor experience across a diverse portfolio of public facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the operations and maintenance of public parks, landscaped assets, recreational facilities, irrigation systems, and public realm infrastructure.Develop and implement annual operational plans, maintenance strategies, budgets, workforce plans, and performance targets. Establish and monitor KPIs, operational dashboards, service levels, and performance metrics.Analyze operational deviations and implement corrective action plans to enhance efficiency and service delivery.Oversee contractors, service providers, and outsourced maintenance operations to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.Drive city beautification programs, landscaping excellence, sustainability initiatives, and horticultural best practices.Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.Collaborate with internal departments, municipalities, and external stakeholders to support strategic public-realm objectives.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, Facilities Management, Landscape Engineering, Agriculture, Horticulture, or related discipline.6-8 years of relevant experience in:Parks OperationsLandscaping OperationsCity Beautification ProjectsFacilities ManagementPublic Realm OperationsMunicipal ServicesDemonstrated experience managing maintenance contracts and operational teams.Strong knowledge of KPI management, operational planning, and asset performance monitoring.Experience in public sector, municipalities, urban development, or large-scale facilities environments preferred.
