Position: Head of Technical Systems Development and Support Section (UAEN)Location: Dubai, UAEEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleOur client, a Dubai Government Entity, is seeking an experienced Head of Technical Systems Development and Support Section to lead strategic and operational activities related to engineering projects, maintenance systems, risk management, project cost control, and quality execution.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the section’s strategic objectives, work plans, and team activities.Oversee engineering projects, maintenance systems, and future-outlook studies.Manage project risk assessment, mitigation plans, and benchmarking initiatives.Monitor project costs, claims, variation orders, quality, and timelines.Evaluate contractor and consultant technical performance.Ensure engineering standards, technical guidelines, and project databases are maintained and updated.Prepare performance reports and recommendations for senior management.Lead, develop, and manage section staff.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.6–8 years of relevant experience.Strong experience in engineering project management and strategic management.Experience in risk management, project cost control, maintenance, and contractor/consultant management.Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
