Role Description The Director role at Rao International is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The Director will oversee overall business strategy, drive growth in key markets, and ensure the delivery of high-quality recruitment and manpower solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading senior teams, setting performance targets, monitoring operational efficiency, and maintaining strong relationships with international clients and partners. The role involves reviewing and improving processes, ensuring compliance with relevant labor and migration regulations, and implementing new initiatives to enhance service quality and market reach. The Director will also represent the organization in high-level client meetings, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with stakeholders to expand Rao International’s presence across existing and new regions.QualificationsDemonstrated leadership experience in recruitment, HR, staffing, or related industries, with a track record of managing senior teams and business operations.Strong strategic planning, business development, and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive growth and improve organizational performance.Excellent client relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills for working with international partners and stakeholders.Knowledge of global workforce trends, labor laws, and compliance requirements, particularly in the Middle East, Africa, and European regions.Ability to work on-site in Gurugram and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and multicultural environments.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, HR, or a related field; a master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.Experience in leading a family-led or legacy organization, or in managing transitions involving innovation and organizational change, is an advantage.
