IAPM is recognized internationally and is among 46 universities worldwide awarded the Platinum Certificate of the Healthy Campus Program by FISU.Role Description The Head of the Department of Economics and Management is a full-time, on-site position located in Kyiv. This role involves providing academic and administrative leadership for the department, including strategic planning, curriculum development, and quality assurance of teaching and research activities. The Head oversees faculty recruitment, mentoring, evaluation, and professional development, and supports the design and delivery of programs in economics, finance, management, and related fields. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating course schedules, supervising research initiatives, managing departmental resources and budgets, and ensuring compliance with institutional and national standards. The role also requires active engagement with students, participation in university governance, collaboration with other institutes and international partners, and contribution to the Academy’s reputation through scholarly and community-oriented activities.Qualifications Advanced academic qualifications in Economics, Management, or a closely related field (PhD or equivalent is strongly preferred), with a record of scholarly publications and research activity.Proven experience in academic leadership or departmental management, including curriculum design, program coordination, and quality assurance in higher education.Demonstrated teaching excellence at the university level in economics, management, or related disciplines, with the ability to support both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.Strong skills in strategic planning, organizational management, and resource allocation, including budget oversight and staff coordination.Experience in building partnerships with industry, academic institutions, and international organizations, and in promoting interdisciplinary and practice-oriented education.Ability to foster an inclusive, student-centered learning environment and to support diverse learners from multiple countries and cultural backgrounds.High-level communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across institutes and with university leadership.Proficiency in relevant languages (U
