Head of Treasury

We are seeking an experienced treasury professional to stand up the treasury function for a recently carved out global medical device manufacturer. If you have experience building a treasury function within a dynamic manufacturing organization, please read on!About the JobThe Head of Treasury will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and lead the company's global treasury and cash management function. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role responsible for optimizing liquidity and cash flow, managing debt and financial risk, supporting capital structure and working capital initiatives, and ensuring strong treasury controls and compliance.The successful candidate will combine strategic perspective with operational discipline and serve as a key partner to the CFO, Corporate Controller, Sponsor, banking partners, and operating leadership. The role will build and enhance treasury infrastructure, processes, systems, and reporting while strengthening cash-flow visibility and awareness across the organization.Key Position ResponsibilitiesLead global cash and liquidity management, including daily cash positioning, short-term cash reporting, funding requirements, and liquidity across multiple international entities.Own the 13-week cash flow forecasting process, driving forecast accuracy, variance analysis, liquidity visibility, and early identification of potential funding or covenant issues.Manage debt and covenant compliance, including credit agreement requirements and timely, accurate lender reporting.Partner with the CFO and Corporate Controller on capital structure, debt refinancing, capital allocation, and other financing activities.Oversee global banking relationships and cash operations, including bank account structures, banking services, credit facilities, electronic banking, signatories, and credit card programs.Partner with tax and finance teams on international fund flows, including intercompany loans, capital contributions, repatriation, and dividend activity.Lead the analysis and mitigation of financial risks, including foreign exchange and interest rate exposure, hedging strategies, and treasury-related internal controls.Partner with the Corporate Controller and operating finance teams on working capital and cash conversion initiatives designed to improve free cash flow.Provide weekly and monthly liquidity, cash flow, and interest reporting to senior leadership and the company's sponsor, including analysis and commentary.Develop and enhance treasury policies, procedures, controls, systems, and reporting, including treasury management technology and automation of manual processes.Support global consolidation and monthly cash flow reporting in partnership with the Corporate Controller.Serve as a trusted treasury advisor and collaborative business partner across Finance and the broader organization.Qualifications10+ years of progressive treasury management experience, ideally within a global manufacturing, industrial, or similarly complex operating environment.Deep expertise in cash management, liquidity forecasting, cash flow management, borrowing facilities, and capital structure.Experience managing international cash flows, multiple currencies, and foreign exchange and interest rate risk.Strong understanding of debt agreements, covenant compliance, lender reporting, and banking relationships.Demonstrated experience improving treasury processes, controls, systems, and automation.Strong analytical, financial, systems, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.Experience partnering with senior executives, lenders, banking institutions, and cross-functional operating teams.Experience in a private equity-backed organization is a plus.CTP is a plus.Must be based in, or able to work effectively within, the Eastern or Central U.S. time zones.
