Head of Treasury

Our client, a fast-growing alternative investments firm in the tristate area, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead their treasury operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and drive the financial strategies of the organization, working closely with legal teams and negotiating with counterparties to secure the best terms. Key ResponsibilitiesLead counterparty negotiations and establish strong relationships.Collaborate with legal teams to ensure optimal terms and conditions.Develop and implement efficient treasury processes and tools, such as margin dashboards.Analyze and understand various financial scenarios and bank economics.Oversee cash management strategies within a fund environment.Utilize Arcesium systems, a preferred but not required skill. Qualifications10-15 years of relevant experience, with a focus on OTC and public credit.Strong STEM background (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).Ability to communicate effectively with the founders.Experience in fund management, start-up environments, or medium-sized financial institutions.Banking experience is advantageous. CompensationThe compensation package is very competitive and includes a base salary and is bonus eligible.
