As part of the continued strengthening of its Finance function, the family office is seeking to appoint a Head of Treasury to take ownership of the family office’s treasury activities. The Head of Treasury is responsible for managing the family office’s cash, liquidity, banking relationships, debt facilities, payment flows and foreign exchange activity. A key responsibility of the role will be to ensure that the family, its various entities, trusts, foundations, investment vehicles and operating structures have sufficient liquidity available at all times to meet their financial obligations efficiently, securely and on time. The Head of Treasury will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will play a key role in supporting the overall financial management and governance of the family office. RequirementsAs Head of Treasury, your responsibilities will include the following: Manage daily cash positions, liquidity planning, and short-term cash forecasting. Oversee bank accounts, banking relationships, authorized signatories, mandates, and account structures. Prepare rolling cash-flow forecasts covering family expenses, tax payments, capital calls, investment funding, debt service, and entity-level obligations. Manage foreign exchange transactions and currency exposures in coordination with the CFO, CIO, and CRO. Support the management of credit facilities, loans, debt maturities, collateral requirements, covenants, and interest payments. Maintain visibility over cash and cash-equivalent balances across banks, custodians, entities, jurisdictions, and currencies. Monitor bank counterparty exposure and concentration limits. Coordinate funding for investment commitments, private market capital calls, real estate expenses, philanthropy, lifestyle assets, and family distributions. Produce treasury reports for the CFO, Managing Director, Investment Committee, Risk Committee, and relevant family governance bodies. Support cash yield optimization within approved risk parameters. Assist in the implementation of a new Treasury Management System. Maintain contingency liquidity plans for market stress, banking disruption, unexpected liabilities, or urgent family requirements. Professional Experience and Education 10 years’ experience in treasury, banking, corporate finance, or related roles. Strong experience in cash management, liquidity forecasting, banking relationships, FX, interest rate risk, financial modelling, and debt management. Ability to operate robust treasury controls, manage counterparty exposure and coordinate funding across entities. High integrity with a proven track record. Worked in a multinational or multi-jurisdiction operations. Has a very good banking network.
