Academy Bermuda, is seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Head Preschool Teacher to join their early childhood education team in Hamilton, Bermuda.The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children approximately 22 months to 5 years of age.Work visa sponsorship will be provided for the successful applicant. Applicants must be willing and able to relocate to Bermuda for the position.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver age-appropriate educational and play-based activities.Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and educational development.Lead and maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.Observe, monitor, and document children’s development and progress.Encourage creativity, independence, positive behavior, and confidence.Communicate professionally with parents and guardians regarding their child’s development and progress.Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.Help provide guidance and support to classroom staff as required.Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in care.Assist with classroom routines, meals, rest periods, and other daily activities as required.RequirementsQualification in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field.Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.Previous leadership or Head Teacher experience is preferred.Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.Patient, caring, reliable, creative, and professional.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.Must be able to satisfy applicable Bermuda employment, childcare, work permit, and background screening requirements.Must be willing and able to relocate to Bermuda.Work Visa & RelocationA.R.T.S. Academy Bermuda will support the successful applicant with the required Bermuda work visa/work permit process.
