This position oversees the dining floor, coordinates the waitstaff team, and ensures that guests receive prompt, courteous, and accurate service throughout their visit. Daily responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, managing table assignments and reservations, supervising order taking and food delivery, and resolving any service issues in a professional manner. The Head Waiter collaborates closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth communication, checks table settings and cleanliness, and supports training and coaching of team members on service standards. The role also involves monitoring guest satisfaction, assisting with menu explanations and recommendations, and helping maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene guidelines.Qualifications Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints respectfully and efficiently.Experience in food & beverage and food service operations, including table service, menu knowledge, and coordination with kitchen staff.Effective communication skills to interact clearly with guests, team members, and management.Basic understanding of cooking processes and kitchen workflows to coordinate service timing and menu details.Previous experience in a supervisory or lead waiter role in a restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality setting.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in service presentation and cleanliness.Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards; formal training or certification is an advantage.Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an asset.High level of professionalism, reliability, and a collaborative approach to working within diverse teams.
