Team members are encouraged to contribute to a collaborative, professional environment where excellence and consistency are highly valued.Role Description The Head Waiter role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Head Waiter oversees the dining room floor, ensures smooth service, and leads the front-of-house team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Daily responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, managing table assignments, taking and coordinating orders, and supervising food and beverage service. The role involves training and supporting waitstaff, resolving guest concerns, and communicating closely with the kitchen and bar to maintain high service standards. The Head Waiter also helps maintain cleanliness and presentation standards, supports reservation management, and assists with opening and closing procedures.QualificationsStrong customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, courteous service.Sommelier experience required. Experience in food & beverage and food service operations, including table service and menu familiarity.Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively between guests, team members, and kitchen staff.Basic understanding of cooking and food preparation processes to accurately describe menu items and support guest choices.Proven experience in a supervisory or senior waiter role in a restaurant or hospitality environment.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.Proficiency in English; additional languages commonly spoken in Dubai are an advantage.Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards in food service environments.Previous experience in upscale or fine dining venues is highly beneficial.
