Joining Roadhouse means being part of a team dedicated to bringing people together, enriching lives, and building stronger communities through hospitality.Role Description The Head Waiter is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu, responsible for overseeing the dining service experience and guiding the front-of-house team. This role includes supervising waitstaff, coordinating table assignments, and ensuring that guests receive prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service throughout their visit. The Head Waiter collaborates closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth food and beverage delivery, accurate order handling, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Daily responsibilities also include training and mentoring team members, resolving guest concerns, managing reservations and seating flow, and supporting opening and closing procedures. The role requires an active presence on the floor, maintaining service standards and contributing to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that defines Roadhouse.Qualifications Strong customer service skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building.Experience in food & beverage and food service operations, including menu knowledge and service standards.Effective communication skills for coordinating with guests, team members, and kitchen staff.Basic understanding of cooking and food preparation to accurately describe dishes and support guest choices.Prior experience in a supervisory or lead waiter role in restaurants or hotels is highly beneficial.Ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and hospitality best practices.Flexible schedule, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Proficiency in English and Nepali; additional languages are an advantage.
