You'll work with organisations across multiple industries, helping them achieve compliance, maintain high standards and continuously improve their health, safety, quality and environmental performance.As a Health & Safet Consultant, you’ll advise a diverse range of clients, providing expert support across: Health & Safety Consultancy CDM Regulations & Principal Designer ServicesRISQS & Contractor Accreditation SupportISO Management Systems (45001, 9001, 14001)Auditing, Compliance Reviews & Risk ManagementTraining, Advisory & Client SupportKey Responsibilities Provide competent person health and safety support to a portfolio of clientsConduct audits, inspections, risk assessments and compliance reviewsDevelop and maintain health & safety policies, procedures and management systemsSupport clients with contractor accreditations including RISQS, CHAS, SMAS, Achilles, UVDB and ConstructionlineAssist clients in implementing and maintaining ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systemsDeliver practical advice on legislation, compliance and industry best practiceSupport organisations in meeting their obligations under the CDM RegulationsUndertake or support Principal Designer and CDM Advisor dutiesDeliver health & safety training, toolbox talks and awareness sessionsPrepare audit reports, compliance documentation and improvement plansBuild trusted relationships and provide commercially focused consultancy supportThe Requirements & Desirable CapabilitiesEssential:NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum)Experience working as a Health & Safety Consultant, Advisor or a similar roleStrong knowledge of RISQS and contractor accreditation schemes Experience supporting ISO management systems, particularly ISO 45001Experience conducting audits and compliance reviews Excellent communication and report writing skillsAbility to manage multiple client projects Full UK driving licence Highly Desirable: Experience within the rail, utility and construction sectorsStrong working knowledge of CDM Regulations Principal Designer or CDM Advisor experience IOSH membership (TechIOSH, GradIOSH or CMIOSH)Experience with integrated management systems Advantageous:Knowledge of the Building Safety ActWho We’re Looking ForWe're looking for a proactive, client-focused Health & Safety professional who enjoys building strong relationships and delivering practical, commercially focused solutions.
